New Planetary League Logo

A new look for a new understanding. The rapid advances in astronomy of recent years have left the old Planetary League emblem obsolete, as it has been discovered that the Milky Way has only 2 main arms (previously thought to be 4), and is a barred spiral in form. So, in the interest of continuing to ground the setting, at least nominally, in the reality of the universe, I designed a new insignia. All the blog articles that link directly to the Planetary League have been updated, as has the main article. Many pieces of art that included the old insignia are still around, but will not be updated. Perhaps they represent visions from a parallel universe where the structure of the galaxy is different.

New Art, New Cardgame, etc.

It has been a while since I posted to the main blog here, but I haven’t been slacking TOO much. There is a lot of new art on various entries that I have been putting up. A lot of this art was created to serve as illustrations for an upcoming card game from Victory Works Studios, based on this universe. The game is called Galactic Conflict, and is just starting play-testing.

Stay Safe, and Stay Awesome,

New Titan art

New art for the Titans article, about the technology of really large robotic vehicles.

When the Holy Empire of Man took over the island, the locals called them the "Sky Kings". One village embraced the Sky Kings and their ways while the rest clung to the old ways. One day, the Celestial Knight descended from the heavens and stood by the village. Then a mighty hurricane rose from the sea and destroyed all the enemies of the Sky Kings. The village and the Celestial Knight stood unharmed, square in the eye of the hurricane for three days. The locals called it a miracle, the commanding officer called it weather control.
