A new look for a new understanding. The rapid advances in astronomy of recent years have left the old Planetary League emblem obsolete, as it has been discovered that the Milky Way has only 2 main arms (previously thought to be 4), and is a barred spiral in form. So, in the interest of continuing to ground the setting, at least nominally, in the reality of the universe, I designed a new insignia. All the blog articles that link directly to the Planetary League have been updated, as has the main article. Many pieces of art that included the old insignia are still around, but will not be updated. Perhaps they represent visions from a parallel universe where the structure of the galaxy is different.

Against the Saucers
Recently, I have been working with TTRPG developers Thought Punks to create a game based on the First Convergence War. Humans have recently begun settling the frontier world New Promise, a fertile breadbasket, and one of the most important core worlds of the Planetary League, but the Convergence has other ideas. In the ensuing conflict a band of hardy adventurers must defend the future prospects of the human race Against the Saucers. The first draft of the game is complete, but currently only available on Patreon.
