Saurex System
Deep in the heart of the Ashovo Nebula, on the core-ward frontier of the Empire of 1,000,000 Suns, the Saurex System is sparsely populated, and is the site of many cosmic storms. Saurex is a K-class orange star. There is a large inter-dimensional rift beyond the habitable zone. The surrounding nebula contains a large number of black holes and neutron stars, leading to the area's classification as a “stellar graveyard”.

The Veil of Fear
The Veil of Fear is a brilliant green nebula shot through with magnetic fields that oscillate at very low frequencies. The magnetic fluctuations are caused by a magnetar known as "the Weeping Eye". Visitors to this region of space often report a vague feeling of unease, possibly due to the oscillations.
